About PPCS

Cyber security and AI governance for accounting firms across the UK

PPCS helps accounting firms strengthen cyber security, govern AI use responsibly, and align with recognised standards in a way that is practical, proportionate, and commercially grounded.

We work nationally across the UK, supporting firms that want credible advice, clear direction, and delivery that makes sense in the real world — not just on paper.

What firms come to PPCS for

We combine practical cyber assurance with emerging AI governance support for firms that need to move confidently, defensibly, and without unnecessary complexity.

  • Cyber Essentials readiness, guidance, and certification support
  • ISO 27001 and information security governance support
  • ISO 42001 and AI management system alignment
  • AIGAS™ rollout and practical AI governance for accounting firms
  • Advice shaped by commercial reality, not generic templates

Built around practical assurance

PPCS exists to help firms deal with the real risks created by modern systems, cloud platforms, data handling, and accelerating AI adoption. Our work is designed to be usable by firms in practice: clear enough to implement, strong enough to defend, and proportionate enough to keep moving.

That means we focus on the standards and frameworks that matter most to firms today, while helping clients create an approach that is workable internally and credible externally.

How the standard and delivery model fit together

AIGAS™ is the governance standard. PPCS is the delivery arm that helps firms understand it, implement it, and work toward practical adoption alongside cyber and information security requirements.

Designed to be clear

The distinction is intentional: AIGAS sets the standard and direction, while PPCS helps firms apply it in practice through delivery, readiness, implementation, and support.

AIGAS™

The standard

  • AI governance standard for accounting firms
  • Defines structure, expectations, and governance direction
  • Supported by broader industry input through the advisory board

PPCS

The delivery arm

  • Readiness, implementation, advisory, and practical support
  • Helps firms apply governance in real operating environments
  • Also supports Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 work

Clear advice. Practical delivery. Stronger governance.

We are not trying to make cyber security or AI governance more complicated than it needs to be. Our role is to help firms move forward with clarity, strengthen what matters, and put sensible structure around risk.

Commercially grounded

Our approach is shaped by how firms actually operate — balancing governance, delivery effort, operational pressure, and what clients increasingly expect to see.

Proportionate and defensible

Good governance should be strong enough to stand up to scrutiny, but practical enough to be adopted and maintained by the firm using it.

Focused on the profession

PPCS is built around the needs of accounting firms, where confidentiality, reliance, client trust, and operational discipline matter just as much as technical controls.

Let’s talk about where your firm is now

Whether you are looking at Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, or practical AI governance through AIGAS™, PPCS can help you build a route that is sensible, credible, and workable.
